About Sue

Big, green frames were a last-minute find. Sue developed her editing and communication skills serving ELCA churchwide ministries: Lutheran Woman Today (now Gather) magazine, ELCA Colleges and Universities ELCA World Hunger Appeal and ELCA Missionary Sponsorship. A globally seasoned photographer, she’s gathered stories in China, India, Peru, Chile, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, South Africa, Malawi, Germany and Slovakia. She also worked for the Bethesda Institute, a division of Bethesda Lutheran Communities, focusing on resourcing congregations for ministry with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. These days, Sue is happy to do what needs to be done as an independent consultant/contractor focused on faith-based and non-profit communication.
